Toelichting bij uitleencijfers 2014

  • Ten opzichte van 2013 zet de dalende lijn van de uitleencijfers door. Er zijn steeds meer e-books via internet toegankelijk. Deze cijfers zijn niet opgenomen in de uitleenstatistieken, maar zijn te vinden bij de rubriek e-books van het licentiemanagement.
  • Er is een significante stijging van ruim 200% van het aantal uitleningen via de selfservice ten opzichte van het aantal uitleningen via de Servicebalie.
  • Het aantal verlengingen is in 2014 gestegen met 5,9% en het aantal reserveringen met 1,3%.
  • Het aantal vakbibliotheken is in 2014 teruggebracht naar vier namelijk Bibliotheek Zernike, Rechten, Gedrags- en Maatschappijwetenschappen en de Centrale Medische Bibliotheek.
  • De collecties van de vakbibliotheken Letteren, Archeologie en Godsdienstwetenschappen zijn in 2014 ingehuisd bij de UB.
